I enjoyed Ryan Quinn’s first tech thriller, End of Secrets, so I read this book as soon as I could. Very glad to see he continues to write real characters in thought-provoking situations, in a clear style. Also, he researches a lot — the elements that play like science fiction here are all things that are in actual development right now. You can learn about them 5 years before the rest of the world by reading this book.Product details

One of the best thrillers I have read in years! Almost impossible to put down, the pages practically turn themselves. Great plot, well-developed characters and captivating storytelling. Highly recommend it.
Redundant redundant,redundant. So boring just kept repeating the character and their troubles never making any progress in the story. so very long on material. Are publishers so short on material to print that they take anything some one hands in. This is a take off on WikiLeaks and Snowden leaking classified federal information to the public. The story was so weak that the author just kept writing with no direction.Don't waste you money but more importantly don't waste your time.
This is one of the better new stories that has good twists and keeps me interested throughout the entire book. Clearly different from many authors who seem to produce things that are barely new and challenging. Worth reading if you like thing about politics / mystery / and our intelligent community.
Stories such as this can be a dime a dozen, but what struck a chord for me is how well things appeared to start off as one thing, but then the story flips the script and introduces something that seems irrelevant at the time and then brings it all together as one. I felt a personal regard for the main character and could only imagine the emotional turmoil she felt throughout. Yet she was able to get the job done, herself exonerated, and stop a global catastrophe in fine form.
I enjoyed the book so much I bought the previous one which was good but not as good. I found all the cyber security issues that the plot revolves around interesting- especially in this day and age. The book was fast moving and gave insight into the intelligence dilemmas faced by world powers as well as how hard it is to maintain integrity ion the midst of these power games.
I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.

Everyone is searching for a "franchise" and I will check back to this series in the future because it is a good first stab someone is declared a "traitor" by the powers that be who is not a traitor but a true patriot--a Snowden figure, a L.p.whistle blower who made him/herself a pariah by exposing powerful peoples secrets.
I liked this one more than the first book, "End of Secrets" - I've been a fan of the adventures of Kera Mersal since the first book, and am now eagerly awaiting the third installment. The Good Traitor goes farther into the world of what we may all be up against in the world of cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism. The most fascinating part is the amount of research that has been clearly done by Quinn. In his attempt to make a world seem real, he has brought to the surface a few lessons for all of us about the kind of information we share online and the ways it could be used against us. All while writing a compelling female protagonist that I relate to and genuinely care about. Nicely done.
